What we do
Structural repair, veneer and marquetry, borer and water damage, re-polishing and upholstery. Antique specialists. EQC and insurance quotes.
Double glazing fitted into your existing wooden window frames. Warmer, drier, quieter, with the original joinery kept exactly as it is.
One-off commissions in native and recycled native timbers, imported timbers, and modern materials when you want them.
Shop fitouts, kitchens, doors and door fittings, staircases, windows and commercial joinery.
Traditional shellac finishing and wood care, using the Liberon range we import into New Zealand.

Liberon was established in France in the 1800s and has been the wood care range specialist restorers reach for ever since. Waxes, oils, spirit dyes and finishing materials. We are the New Zealand agents, which means the products we use on your furniture are the same ones we supply to the trade.

These guys did a fantastic job repairing my corner chair... great match finding the right grain of oak... looks original. they also replaced the back of a drawer from a print cabinet that had fallen apart from borer.

The team at DJ Morrison have demonstrated exceptional expertise in relation to the Furniture Restoration I asked them to undertake on 2 pieces of furniture I own. I gave them a general idea of what I wanted and left the pieces in their good hands. The results where nothing short of beautiful. 👍🙂 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
