We have never seen it that way. A well made piece is not a purchase, it is an investment that outlives the person who bought it. Bring us something worth keeping and we will make it last another generation.
Georgian through Edwardian to mid century. Native and recycled native timbers, imported timbers, and modern materials when a client asks for them. Every job is different, which is the part we like.

Furniture restoration
Structural repair, veneer and marquetry, borer and water damage, re-polishing and upholstery. Antique specialists. EQC and insurance quotes.
Retrofit double glazing
Double glazing fitted into your existing wooden window frames. Warmer, drier, quieter, with the original joinery kept exactly as it is.
Bespoke furniture
One-off commissions in native and recycled native timbers, imported timbers, and modern materials when you want them.
Joinery and fitouts
Shop fitouts, kitchens, doors and door fittings, staircases, windows and commercial joinery.
French polishing
Traditional shellac finishing and wood care, using the Liberon range we import into New Zealand.

Liberon was established in France in the 1800s and has been the wood care range specialist restorers reach for ever since. Waxes, oils, spirit dyes and finishing materials. We are the New Zealand agents, which means the products we use on your furniture are the same ones we supply to the trade.

I have had 3 separate cabinet jobs done by this company and Perfect result each time. Great service too.
Dan did the most incredible job refurbishing my sideboard. It was coming apart at the seams, the glass doors would not move properly and had been repaired badly before. He has made it sturdy and it looks amazing.
These guys did a fantastic job repairing my corner chair. Great match finding the right grain of oak, looks original. They also replaced the back of a drawer from a print cabinet that had fallen apart from borer.
